The Nielsen Co. says Sunday's Golden Globes ceremony was seen by almost 17 million TV viewers. It beat all network competition in its time period, slightly exceeding last year's audience for the film and TV awards show.
According to time zone-adjusted Nielsen "fast national" figures released Monday, it was NBC's most-watched prime-time entertainment telecast in the 18-to-49 demographic since last year's Golden Globes.
Carried by NBC from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Eastern time, the…

John Travolta says their 7-week-old baby boy is "a new beginning" for his family.

The Chicago Bears vs. Minnesota Vikings match up on ESPN's "Monday Night Football" was the evening's most-watched primetime program on broadcast and cable, as 17.1 million viewers tuned in for the blow-out 40-14 victory by the Bears.
The game ranks as the ninth most-viewed program in cable history (excluding breaking news), said Nielsen. "Monday Night Football" is so far trending slightly higher this season than last season.…

Meet "Little Fockers," the latest in Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller's comedy franchise. Grit your teeth through the fairly short though agonizing duration of its stay.
Then wave goodbye in relief as its huge cast of characters departs like the annoying in-laws they are.
"Meet the Parents" from 2000 was a tolerable trifle and 2004's "Meet the Fockers" was a bloated bore. But "Little Fockers" is tasteless trash, filled with abysmally unfunny gags involving vomit, enemas,…
